1. Our group will have only one person from each declared occupation. The membership committee shall have the determination of all declared occupations. Members will not be a part of another occupation exclusive group while being a member of Got’Cha Referrals.
2. Attendance is critical to our group. Regular attendance is required. We meet Wednesdays at 7:15am. Members are expected to attend 51 weeks a year or have a substitute. People to consider for substitutes include customers, clients, patients, friends, family, employees, and former members. Members need to arrive on time and stay for the entire meeting. Members will be allowed only two absences each quarter without a substitute. More absences than two per quarter will be brought up to the membership committee and that classification will be open to others interested in representing that occupation.
3. Members will bring qualified referrals to meetings.
4. Members will invite qualified guests to meetings.
5. Visitors will attend two meetings before committing to join Got’Cha Referrals.
6. Members shall have a maximum of one minute to promote their business each week unless they are on the speaker rotation.
7. On a rotating basis, members shall have a maximum of 10 minutes to promote their business. Speakers shall bring a gift ($10.-$20.) for the drawing that only members who brought a guest or gave a referral qualify.
8. Breakfast is mandatory. Guests and members pay for their meals. 20% gratuity is included on your bill.
9. In emergencies members may request an absence from the membership committee for hardship cases for up to two months.
10. It is a member’s responsibility to bring any conflict with occupation category to the membership committee for consideration.
11. Members who wish to change their occupation must get approval from the membership committee.
12. Problems that may arise with a member will be worked out with the membership committee and or the leadership committee. If neither agrees. then a vote of all members shall be held.
13. Policies are subject to change upon a vote of all members. Once a month ideas and matters that members are interested in changing may be brought up for consideration and will be voted on at the next monthly meeting usually held on the first Wednesday of each month.
14. There is a one time registration fee of $10.00 for the purchase of our business card files and name tags. Membership dues of $25.00 are due with the membership application.
15. Membership dues of $25.00 are due at the beginning of each quarter (except for the leader, secretary, & treasurer) and are paid to the treasurer or another member of the leadership team in that person’s absence.
16. Members should wear name tag at meetings.
17. Members will carry their business card file at all times, including to meetings.
18. By giving business to others you will get business in return.
